When to Seek Help for Low Mood
Low mood after a difficult week can pass. When heaviness stays, or starts changing sleep, appetite, energy, or hope, a psychologist can help you sort what you are carrying.
Consider booking a session if several of these have lasted more than two weeks:
- Little interest in things that usually matter
- Tiredness that rest does not fix
- Feeling numb, tearful, or unusually self-critical
- Withdrawing from friends, family, or work
- Trouble concentrating or making simple decisions
Seeking help is not a failure of willpower. Mood, trauma, relationships, and health all interact. A first appointment at Manovistaar is a conversation, not a test. You can share as much or as little as feels safe.
If you are in immediate danger or thinking about harming yourself, contact local emergency services or a crisis helpline right away. This website is not an emergency service.
