This page explains how booking and payment work on the website. It is not tax, GST, or legal advice. A chartered accountant and, where needed, a lawyer should confirm what applies to this practice.
How sessions happen
Manovistaar is online-only. Video session from your home. There is no walk-in clinic. After you book, the practice will share the video link by email or WhatsApp. You need a private room, a camera, a microphone, and a stable internet connection.
Consultation fee
The listed fee is ₹700 for 45 minutes of psychological consultation. The website charges this amount only. It does not add GST, TDS, or other tax in checkout.
GST and tax
Whether psychological services attract GST, and whether this practice must register, depends on turnover, the nature of the service, and current law. Healthcare exemptions exist in some cases and do not apply in others. Manovistaar will issue a GST invoice only after GST registration is confirmed with a CA. Until then, payment is a professional consultation fee, a PDF payment receipt is emailed after online payment, and income should still be recorded for income tax.
Online payment
When Razorpay is connected, you can pay by UPI or card. Razorpay deducts its gateway fee from settlements. When a booking is completed, that slot is reserved and confirmation emails are sent to you and to the practice. After a successful payment you also receive a PDF payment receipt by email. That receipt is for your records. It is not a GST tax invoice. If something goes wrong after payment, we will offer another time or refund.
Cancellation and refunds
Cancel or reschedule at least 24 hours before the session for a full refund of the consultation fee paid through this website. Later cancellations may be non-refundable except in genuine emergencies, at the practitioner’s discretion. Gateway fees already deducted by Razorpay may not always be recoverable. Refunds, when approved, are sent back to the original payment method and can take several working days.
Children and adolescents
Sessions for a child or adolescent are booked by a parent or legal guardian. The guardian must be available to consent to care. This website does not replace the consent discussion that happens with the psychologist.
What this website cannot do
- Register a firm, GSTIN, or professional licence
- Replace informed consent for therapy
- Act as an emergency or crisis service (use local emergency services or Tele-MANAS 14416 / 1-800-891-4416)
- Offer a walk-in clinic or in-person appointment
- Guarantee a slot that has already been booked by someone else
